Forma de Arte, Reserva, red
Review of the 2011 vintage
 - Wine Advocate #208 August ed.
The 2011 Reserva Forma de Arte is an equal blend of Touriga Nacional and Cabernet Sauvignon aged for four months in a mixture of French and American new oak. With a sweet oak nuance up front, this quickly shows some structure as well, some tannic pop and enough acidity to give it a juicy, flavorful finish. It is quite delicious, if not terribly complex. As the oak faded a bit, it seemed a bit more floral and charming. There is not a lot of concentration here, but it is hard to resist and a nice value. Drink now-2020.
